Production Designer - Art Director - Mentor - Facilitator - Host
Domini Anderson is a film & television professional, originally from Perth, Western Australia.
Domini is known primarily for her work as Production Designer (Jane, 2021-2) and Art Director (Apparatus, 2026; The Borderline, 2024; Star Trek: Discovery, 2020).
In 2023, Domini was nominated for a Director’s Guild of Canada Award for her Production Design of the first season of the Emmy-winning show, Jane (AppleTV+).
Domini has over 15 years of film&television experience across a number of roles and departments, and over 40 credits. She is intelligent, adaptable and and diligent in her pursuit of excellence. Domini’s development has included professional training in Post Production, Leadership, Media Management, Producing and Production Budgeting.
Alongside her production work, Domini is a mentor with organisations such as OYA: Black Media Arts, WIFT-Australia and the Trans Film Mentorship. Domini also teaches Art Direction for Film with LIFT (Liaison of Independent Filmmakers Toronto).
Additionally, Domini has worked as Program Coordinator with the Trans Film Mentorship coordinating on-set training programs, work-placement programs and one-on-one mentorship programs. In conjunction with the TFM and DGC Ontario Domini hosted two Career Days, exploring journeys into film production and post production for aspiring queer, trans and non-binary filmmakers.
In 2023 Domini launched the film mentorship podcast The Shore, highlighting women working in film& television, as a way of sharing information, fostering community and building a brighter and more inclusive future.
